Fatih Selçuk Hazan is a founding partner of BILGI | HAZAN. After studying law at the University of Cologne and graduating with the academic degree Magister iuris (Mag. iur.), he completed further legal studies in Turkey and qualified for legal work in German-Turkish legal matters.
He began his professional career at renowned international commercial law firms. He later founded his own firm, LIBRE | law and consultancy, with offices in Ankara and Cologne and a focus on cross-border commercial law advice.
Among other roles, he worked in the environment of attorney Gerhart Baum, former Federal Minister, and in legally shaped functions in the private sector. His professional focus lies in corporate and contract law, white-collar criminal law and the legal structuring of international investment projects. A particular focus of his work is the legal support of international business models with a connection to the DACH region and Turkey.
He is a member of the German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the German-Turkish Lawyers' Association (DTJV) and is listed in the directory of German-speaking lawyers of the German Embassy in Ankara. He is also a generally sworn translator/interpreter and court expert for the German-Turkish language combination, officially accredited in both the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Turkey.
