Market Entry

Those who wish to operate in Turkey must make early decisions on questions that can only be corrected later with effort: own company or branch office, participation or distribution agreement, how much control remains with the foreign shareholder, what permits the planned activity triggers. We categorize these questions before capital is committed.

Ongoing Business

Once the company is established, the needs shift: contracts with suppliers and customers, employment relationships and residence permits for dispatched employees, corporate resolutions, the tax treatment of distributions, questions of foreign trade and compliance.

We accompany the ongoing process rather than just at specific points — also because many deadlines in these procedures are short and a missed appointment becomes more expensive than the consultation.

Conflicts

If a dispute arises, the beginning is not a lawsuit, but an assessment: What is provable, what does a procedure cost, how long does it take, and what would a settlement be worth? Only then do we decide together on the path — before state courts, in arbitration, or in negotiation.

Collaboration with Düsseldorf

For matters with a German connection, we work directly with our Düsseldorf office. This concerns almost every transaction between the two countries: contracts that operate in two legal systems, tax issues that can only be answered together, and titles that must be enforced where the assets are located.
